VW Camper October 2019 Issue 144
Rat, stock, restored, original, custom, camper and commercial.
Issue 144 has the lot!
There's a ’62 patinated, sign written, rat look, stealth camping, ground scraping, big engined Panel Van, and a ’73 Single cab; originally from Greece which had been used for moving hay. Then there's a very original ’79 Riviera camper sporting a host of original goodies including the distinctive fringed awning and a 1966 Split Dormobile which looks essentially stock but has been subtly lowered and fitted with a 1776 motor.
There's nothing stock look for a ’98 Autohomes Komet camper in vivid Ford Focus ST pearlescent orange paint and huge Porsche Cayenne wheels
Finally there's a Vanquest T5 camper converted as a demo model / hire vehicle for the business
There have been some very, very hot shows this summer with record breaking temperatures at both shows featured this month, EBI in Belgium and The Husbands Bosworth Festival in Leicestershire.
It’s also a bumper month travel wise. The Barefoot Bay braves the West coast of Scotland and discovers silence, blue skies and empty beaches, Pete’s Bay travels through Europe to Xixarella in Andorra, and Eicke’s epic road trip through the Baltic in his syncro reaches Estonia.
