Star Trek Explorer Issue 5

In Star Trek Explorer #5 we pay tribute to the late Nichelle Nichols. Today it’s hard to imagine the impact that the multi-racial cast of Star Trek had on television viewers when it first aired, but it certainly did; Nichols role as Lieutenant Uhura groundbreaking in so many ways, is remarked on by several paying tribute within this issue.
