March/April 2019

The March/April 2019 issue of Embroidery focuses on artists working with textiles who comment on the wider issues of politics, injustice or identity.  Work by US artists Michelle Kingdom and Lisa Kokin feature alongside that of Jakkai Sirbutr in Thailand and Ulla-Stina Wiander from Sweden.  Karen Nicol also features, discussing her 40 year career as a designer, artist and tutor.
