May/June 2017

Spring is in the air in the May/June issue, which is packed with colour and makers whose work celebrates its influence.  Many of the featured artists followed a formal training in art or design but most are self-taught embroiderers – Tom Hickman, Karen Barbe, Liz Payne, Avinash Veeraraghavan, Ellen Bell and Peter Crawley. We also celebrate the vision of collector Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth and of course include the latest news, reviews, exhibitions and What’s On.
