100% Biker Issue 246
You may be showing your age if the very mention of 2-4-6 immediately makes you add ‘-8-
Motorway’. It’s an astounding 32 years since the Tom Robinson Band was in the Top Ten with ‘2-4-6-8 Motorway’ and we were going to keep that link until issue #2468, but as that will be in the year
2189 we figured we’d better not wait.
So 100% Biker #246 is motoring on with pride of place given to Noel Connolly’s hand and shedbuilt Speed Freak which won the Irish round of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building in March. Following the death of Arlen Ness, we have a comprehensive tribute to the Godfather of Custom (a round-up of his most influential bikes will follow in #247), while our feature bikes are as varied as ever, from Eliot’s throwback Harley to Odgie’s flat tracking Rotax; from a lovely reversed head Triumph to a basic brat Bandit; from a far from basic Sportster to a new take on an Enfield 350.
We’ve been to the Polish Custom Show, Oily Rag Co’s first Hangout Saturday. Hoggin’ the Bridge, Eye of Ra MCC’s Easter Party, Apocalyptica and Sand & Motorcycles. And then there’s our HUGE 20 page events supplement which lists in detail over 450 rallies, shows and bike nights. Get planning your year!
